Welcome to this private, pint-sized adventure retreat in the forest! Kick back on the deck or around the campfire, cook in the outdoor kitchen and end the day in a plush king size bed. Includes wood burning stove for chilly days, simple kitchen appliances, mini fridge, games and wi-fi (because, life). Bathroom is a separate building with a composting toilet (no shower). Please note: This space does NOT have a working shower in the winter months and toilet is an incineration toilet (directions on use upon arrival) located in the outhouse mere steps away. Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
