Only a few miles from the Lake District National Park and Solway Coastline, Scholars Cottage is superbly situated for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and some of the best local walking routes during your stay. The Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and we look forward to hosting for you as you explore the Western Lake District.

The Mews is a beautifully converted barn, once part of a larger farm, it is now one of a small complex of buildings , surrounded by farmland and overlooking the hills and valleys of the NW Lakes. This is the most peaceful and picturesque area of the Lake District. The location is perfect for walking , cycling, running, open water swimming etc... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the lakes and toward the lesser know scenic west coast .

A lovely self contained studio situated a ten minute walk from the beautiful market town of Cockermouth. With ample free parking, and great wifi. Our studio has its own private entrance and key lock box. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
