What a wonderful, isolated spot! I spent a solo weekend there and didn’t see another sole for 72 hours, except once when two geese flew overhead. It was raining and I spent the whole time reading by the fireplace or in the hot tub. I was worried that the dirt road might be difficult in the rain, but my Hyundai Tuscon handled it just fine. If you are looking for a spot to get away from it all, here it is!

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful place to get away.

We spent two great nights in your beautiful house with our group. Even though we had 17 people, we had plenty of space. We enjoyed the serenity of nature around it with cozy swings. Thank you for a lot of blankets, great towels, relaxing jacuzzi. Even though it was raining that weekend, we had a great time thanks to your wonderful care. The kitchen was super stocked with plenty of utensils to use. The bathroom had plenty of condiments and very well stacked as well. Overall, your cozy place provided all of us the comfort we needed. Thank you for a great stay surrounded by nature.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

Had the most amazing stay with my pups to get away from the city. They got to run around and be free while we enjoyed the hot tub. The aesthetics of the place were 10/10. Used the wood burning stove religiously as it was a bit chilly, which made the stay so cozy. Grass valley is a really really cute town too. The perfect private quiet getaway.

Kalery’s place is super unique with the cabin / yurt combo! The place feels secluded but is a short drive from Grass Valley & Nevada City where there are a ton of restaurants and fun bars. We loved relaxing on the back patio listening to the nearby creek and spending time in the hot tub. The place was super cozy /clean and we had all the info we needed for a seamless stay. Would def visit again!

We had a wonderful time, 4 girl friends, 1 child, 3 dogs! A fantastic weekend away to visit friends close by for a birthday. We got a sunny day and a stormy day and both were perfect for this house. Enjoy it all weathers. We made the most of the hot tub, cooked together in the kitchen, played games and watch some VHS! Cozy peaceful sleeps. Beds comfy, lots of towels available and bathroom amenities. We will definitely be staying again.

We had an amazing stay! The home was modern, spotless, and perfectly designed for a comfortable getaway. The surrounding forest was absolutely beautiful and gave the whole place a peaceful, secluded feel. We also loved the fun amenities like the net and basketball court— really fun for kids. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was absolutely cozy, and the view so pretty. The deer were awesome to see. Plenty of board games to play. The host were so helpful and communicative. When we accidentally left something behind, the host were so helpful to help us to get our lost item back the next day.

Had a really lovely stay with my sons. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Check-in and out was easy and the location is beautiful. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We were impressed by the craftsmanship of the home and deck (we both have construction backgrounds). It was very private and peaceful. Beautiful views of tall oaks around the deck. Hosts were very sweet and responsive. We frequently use air bnb and this was one of the best locations we have ever stayed at. Very close to downtown Nevada City and great dining/small shops. But our favorite part was just enjoying time using the spa amenities and unplugging. Host provided slippers and a speaker for spa which was great. We even got some sweet snuggles from their orange cat Ginger who checked in on us (which we loved). The only downside was that the next day was already booked and we couldn’t stay longer. Looking forward to an extended visit here in the future.

A lot of attention to detail was what I noticed. When I arrived, everything I needed and wanted was right there, even things that are important like a super comfortable bed, with high-quality linens. The place was adorable, spacious and relaxing. Perfect for what I needed, I’ll definitely be back again.

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

My family enjoyed a beautiful and peaceful 4 nights here. The home was clean and stocked with all of the basic necessities. The lake was walking distance and we took all of our things over in the wagon. My two dogs had fun sniffing around the property and discovering all of the tennis balls left by previous furry friends. Had some deer visitors on one of the evenings. Overall a lovely stay!!

My stay at this cabin was one of the best stays yet. The place is secluded but not to remote at the same time. The interior was extremely comfortable and especially the bed mattress was fantastic. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything and more a passionate cook could wish for. Above all this place was very good value especially as everything was of a very high standard. I highly recommend this place to stay.

We had an amazing experience at the cabin. The views were breath taking and it truly made for a relaxing weekend. It was very kid friendly and there was so much to do related to being outdoors. The hosts were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Great location and amenities. The beds were comfortable and it's just a short drive to town. The kitchen is great for cooking and the gas grill worked perfectly. The game room was fun and entertaining but could use a little better lighting. Overall, it was a great stay and the host is very nice, responsive and accommodating.

Exactly as described. Definitely rustic themed but very clean. Bed was very comfortable and dressed with soft linens. Perfect for my one night stay.

Gorgeous area and very relaxing stay.

We had such a great time as a family. The location of this particular cabin is so nice having a family with young ones. We went for the snow and will be coming back! It’s so much nicer to be able to come back warm up, cook a meal and relax before taking the family back out. Va the alternative of driving home. We did make it easy on ourselves and brought our own air fryer to speed up some of the meals I had planned for the family.

Beautiful setting in Sierra city! We had the Yuba River out our back door and the Sierra Buttes out front. Jeremy is a great host and quick to answer our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The rooms were cozy and decorated with fun and interesting things.
