Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Cow Lane Cottage

This delightful end stone cottage sits on the outskirts of the picturesque Cheshire town of Bollington, with stunning views from the rear up to the landmark 'White Nancy' and rolling valleys at the front. The cottage is named for the cows that live in the surrounding fields who will often pop their heads over the garden wall to have a munch on the foliage. The cottage also benefits from being close to restaurants, shops,  pubs, and the Macclesfield canal that winds it way through the village.

Rock End Retreat is a spacious self contained bungalow with parking for two cars. It has easy access and is set in a peaceful and private setting on a working family dairy farm. The retreat is modern with plush bedrooms and comfy sofas with newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom. The outside area is securely fenced so that pooches can explore safely. Owls Loft is a self contained cottage with a private outdoor seating area and garden. In a tranquil, rural setting, with views of the Cheshire Plain, this is a great place to recharge your batteries. It is well located to visit the Peak District, or get the train into Manchester from Macclesfield or Congleton. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach , as well as Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, the antique shops of Leek and the pottery towns of Stoke on Trent.

Our Couples' Hideaway is in a very private location accessed by electric gates, with a hot tub and summerhouse that are never overlooked. It has a large, dog secure deck set in mature trees. Although in the grounds of a larger holiday park we are completely unconnected with them and clean and manage this pristine lodge ourselves, getting rave reviews pretty much 100% of the time. The lodge is nestled in an area renowned for walking and cycling and is on the edge of the Peak District.

Gramps ‘ouse

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cottage nestled in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands village of Kingsley, on the cusp of the Churnet Valley, 10 minutes from Alton Towers. This newly refurbished cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and the other with bunks including 1.5 modern bathrooms. Parking for 1 vehicle. Ideal for families and walkers alike. Dogs welcome. There is a small courtyard only but plenty of walks and fields for exercising your 4-legged friend.

Located right on the water's edge of Rudyard Lake in a conservation area of the Staffordshire Moorlands, this bespoke boathouse conversion is an ideal romantic break for 2 in a very beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by woodland with perfect views up and down the lake. Although we can accommodate 4 in total, Inglenook boathouse is most suited for couples. The sofa bed is comfortable for up to two children but not suitable for two adults.
