Both bedrooms lead to balconies, the views are spectacular. We are connected to a 24 hour security service that will escort you into the apartment if you are coming home late or alone. I am an artist, so my studio (opposite to apartment entry) will be locked as I will use it as a storeroom. Head to Saunders’ Rock Tidal Pool on hot days for a refreshing dip. Unfortunately we only have street parking, but we are 100m from the MyCiti bus stop and we have found that most guests find using Uber, most convenient. Home has immediate access to walking trails and Vlakenberg hiking trail. All bedrooms have stunning views onto mountain ranges.

Set at the foot of the densely forested eastern slopes of Table Mountain, the property is half surrounded by the Green Belt, opposite to Cecelia Forest and less than 2km away from the world famous Kirstenbosch Garden. We have an inverter as a back up during load shedding + our own water treatment plant for high quality water directly from the tap, better than any plastic bottled water.

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Power outages are being experienced by SA - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.

Upper Constantia Greenbelt

The property is situated adjacent to the beautiful Bel Ombre greenbelt with spectacular views down the valley as well as the lower lying Cape flats with the Hottentots Hollands mountain range as a backdrop. We have also installed an off grid power generation unit which means we are no longer affected by Load shedding.
