Wow, this place is amazing. It felt like staying at a family members house. Well stocked with everything, from linen's to kitchen appliances, to hair dryer, it has everything you could ever need. It was a short, beautiful walk down to the Cross Haven village that had amazing pubs and restaurants. Special thanks to the neighbors that helped the uber find us when my phone stopped working (my fault for not getting internationally calling! ) Truly a wonderful and peaceful home for a perfect seaside vacation.

We had a wonderful few days in Una’s place. Location was second to none….everything you need around the corner. House was cosy , clean and comfortable. Would happily go again.

I cannot recommend The Old Milking Stall (Tim and Barbara) enough!! I stayed there with my family for 4 days and it was more than we could imagine! Tim and Barbara themselves are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t be any nicer if they tried! They provide a thoughtful welcome hamper! And for their home it is gorgeous! So beautiful from the garden to the reading nook, it’s perfect for all! Their pet dogs being your friend is a bonus! If you need any help they are willing to do what they can from taxi advice to food recommendations! If you need a place to stay in Skibbereen, The Old Milking Stall is definitely the place to stay! This was the perfect combination of "rural" and "suburban". On a peaceful, country lane, away from the bustle of Tipperary, yet only a 5 minute drive to all the shops and conveniences one would need. Surrounded by sheep, cattle, horses and meadows, it is the quintessential Irish property. Thoughtfully remodeled, it provided all the modern necessities without losing its basic charm. Mary was immediately available to answer questions, and provided excellent feedback. The house itself is well arranged, comfortable, and welcoming...small, but roomy enough so as not to feel crowded. The two fireplaces were a wonderful bonus. Our only issue is the size of the main bedroom. Having to deal with the original floor plan during the remodel, the "master" bedroom is large enough for only a double bed - barely. I only wish I had found out about Mary's other Airbnb rental - in Dublin - before we rented someone else's there. I'm sure hers would have been MUCH nicer than the one we ended up renting!

Lovely few days down In Baltimore. The house was so good. Near to the town centre, near the beach, lovely cycle route just opposite. House lovely and comfortable for our family. Will come again. House had lots of extras, tennis rackets, washing up liquid , tea and coffee….very nice and relaxed stay.

Großzügiges Haus sehr gut für Familien geeignet, auch mit kleinen Kindern.Küche vollausgestattet inklusive Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner und Geschirrspüler. Wir haben die Abende genossen vor dem Kamin. Sehr netter Host. Gerne wieder.

What a gorgeous, peaceful, and well stocked home! The scenery is a pastoral postcard, and the home is on a private, quiet cul-de-sac (many neighbors are full time residents ~ friendly, quiet, considerate). We have two dogs, and we were grateful to find a dog-friendly residence AND with so many amazing forest trails less than five minutes from the house ~ heaven! And the home ~ 3 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms ~ a well stocked kitchen, a most comfy living room with a great TV, a fireplace ~ all so convenient and comfortable. We needed a place for two months as we are moving to the area, but it takes so long here to close on a house, so we weren't just vacationing; we were LIVING there. Still, it had all we needed for day-to-day living. Miriam was immediately responsive when we contacted her, but honestly, we never needed anything so we rarely needed to be in touch. In sum, it was a remarkable deal for such comfort in an amazing area We feel quite lucky.

I can only concur with all the great reviews Rory has accumulated. It was a horrible wet day the day I traveled to Rory's place & after a long, miserable drive it was so welcoming to see a warm, cheering fire crackling away when I arrived. Communications with Rory were excellent throughout & the accommodation had everything I needed for my stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rory and his place to anyone contemplating visiting the area.

Appartement parfaitement situé en plein centre d'une ville vivante et très jolie. À quelques minutes de la gare et de la gare routière, et également proche du sublime parc national. L'appartement était parfaitement conforme à la description. Merci à John pour toutes les petites attentions et la qualité de toutes les informations mises à disposition pour profiter un maximum du séjour. N'hésitez pas à goûter les glaces de chez Murphys juste en dessous de l'appartement, elles sont excellentes !

Wir haben die Ruhe und die schöne Gegend sehr genossen. :) Andrew war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ebenso der Garten und Aussenbereich war sehr einladend zum Entspannen

Great place to stay.....it's a lovely, well equipped and very clean duplex apartment with bright modern decor. It's walking distance to Cork city centre (c 25 mins) or a short bus ride and just a few minutes walk from the lovely Lough park/lake area which has a couple of nice cafés and bars for breakfast or lunch. The street itself is very quiet and residential and there's easy parking just outside. Pearse and Delmo are very friendly and responsive hosts. I've already booked a return trip in August. I would fully recommend this apartment for a stay in Cork.

Die Lage ist perfekt, es ist ruhig, direkt am Meer, man kann vom Fenster aus immer wieder Schiffe beobachten. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die zweite Toilette ist ein Plus. Der Gastgeber hat sofort auf unsere Anliegen reagiert und sie gelöst und hat uns sogar ein Present als Entschädigung für das schlechte Wetter gebracht! Sehr nett! Es ist ausreichend aber nicht zu viel Geschirr und Besteck da, was Dank des Geschirrspülers kein Problem war. Es ist nicht alles ganz neu aber funktionstüchtig und sehr sauber . Wir können die Unterkunft vor allem wegen des netten Gastgebers und des einmaligen Ausblicks sehr empfehlen. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Super schöne Unterkunft, absolut zu empfehlen. Richtig schön eingerichtet mit hochwertigen Möbeln und alles super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt es wurden auf Kleinigkeiten geachtet. Gastgeberin Anne ist super nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This property is beautiful! The privacy, landscaping, and view of the pond provide a very peaceful ambiance. The home was great, no issues. Brian was fantastic to communicate with and very kind. We loved the fireplace and comfortable family room. The home and hot tub do use well water, which was fine, just wasn’t something I’m too familiar with! All around was great, would recommend!

Beautiful view of the sea and very spacious house. Dave was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home. Location also very close to a grocery store, coffee, food, etc.

We have just spent a marvellous week at Grainne's holiday home. It is indeed a magical place with beautiful sea views and within walking distance of Baltimore village/harbour. So much to explore around this historical area and beyond. Did day trips to Sherkin Island and Garnish Island (which is about an hours drive away), a hike to the iconic Beacon is a must. Great restaurants and a small local pub nearby all serving brilliant seafood and the freshest fish. The house had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfy beds and lounge furniture for relaxing and reading or just admiring the view! Best of all was that there was no television...fantastic to get away from the outside world for a while, give the head some peace. Cant wait to revisit West Cork again. Thank you Grainne for all the great local information and suggestions and for being so responsive and friendly.

Excellent house in a beautiful setting! Lots of space for 8 adults, and a 7 and 10 year old. The spacious garden, books, games and toys available in the house were a great hit. The house is within walking distance of Rosscarbery and Warren Beach. Would recommend to family and friends and stay here again!

Best Airbnb experience we've ever had! Here are a few things that make Heron's Rest so special; spectacular views loads of space practical, well-equipped kitchen supremely comfy beds, linens and pillows great showers laundry room with washer and dryer lovely, separate dining room with views overlooking the Harbor spacious bedrooms with room to store and hang clothes amazing quiet great walks (forest and sea) accessible from the house The one thing that made our stay truly special, though, was Robert, who should be hired by Airbnb to teach Hosting! From the remarkably thoughtful welcome basket that included spaghetti and pasta sauce, fresh baked bread, local cheeses, biscuits / crackers, chocolate, a delicious locally produced Relish, etc. to his enthusiasm and local knowledge (the English Market in Cork City Center was great) he made our Airbnb stay very special. Thank you again!

This is a love song to Atherlow Castle. Our family of 6(all adults) stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. We truly felt at home. There’s plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy in the castle but there was still such a comfortable feeling. The grounds are lovely, with the nicest looking herd of cows I’ve ever seen peacefully grazing on impossibly green grass. Freda and Declan were quintessential hosts! Friendly and unobtrusive with adorable bouncy dogs. The area, as described by a local tea shop owner we struck up a conversation with, is real Ireland not tourist Ireland. All of the major sites are within driving distance but the local area has hidden gems. We have stayed in wonderful Airbnbs all over the world but Atherlow Castle won my heart.

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!

We loved our stay at Whiting Bay. The house is beautiful and set in the most stunning location. Maria was a very helpful host and responded very quickly to any queries. The house is ideal for large groups and worked so well for our family gathering. I would highly recommend.
