5 stars! The cabin was cozy, spotless, and so peaceful—exactly what we needed. Total privacy and a super relaxing vibe. The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Host provided everything we could possibly need for us and our pup. We really felt welcome and comfortable. We cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend!

I booked this room for a long weekend mostly because of the reviews I read and I do not regret it. The property was absolutely gorgeous, rich in history and areas to explore. The house was spotless and so charming. Lastly, the hosts were very helpful and responsive. This Airbnb stay topped all of our previous stays and we cannot wait until we come back to this location. I highly recommend to book this spot if it is available!

So sad we could only stay there for one night because it was so wonderful! Everything was very put together and it was a wonderful location. Will definitely stay again if ever in the area :)

I really enjoyed this little get away. Beautiful eating places right down the road. Theres a great small town vibe here as well. I really enjoyed the host. She was resposive and i actually got a chance to meet her while she was preparing another unit for another guest. What i really enjoyed about that interaction was knowning that staying here directly impacts the local community not just some corporate account. My son really enjoyed our stay as well. We will be back when work calls

We stayed here for an Easter getaway with some friends and our dog. Everything was really clean, the kitchen was really well stocked, it was really quiet, and the space was perfect for all of us. The screened in porch was amazing…I wanted it to come home with me! Overall, great stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

This place was so cute and we could tell a lot of love went into it. We only got to stay one night and it rained and snowed. We’re hoping to visit again in the spring or summer when we can enjoy her backyard and porch swing!

This was our second time staying here. I don’t want to leave a good review so it’s not always booked up lol! Karen is very easy to get in touch with. The cabin is private, clean, and unmatched scenery. We will, of course, be going back!

The cabin was remote and rustic! Everything we were looking for. Their dog churro was our little shadow and it was very comforting. We picked a very rainy weekend and when there could be the possibility of severe storms, our host was very proactive and accommodating to the possibility of having to change the reservation should we have to. We most definitely will be back!

Had a lovely stay. This is my second time staying at this property. The location is perfect - walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The backyard is beautiful. I loved seeing the cats.

The place is soo cute and comfy . Your right in the middle of soo much to do. We found some Great restaurants in the area and just a short jaunt to get into Louisville. I would definitely recommend staying there.

The house was exactly as advertised. Super clean. Friendly and responsive host. Really appreciated the snacks in the kitchen for us. Less than 5 minute walk from the town mercantile. Locals were very friendly. Five star stay, very glad we booked with them.

We stayed here in celebration of my daughter’s third birthday - it was PERFECTION. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. They’ve thought of everything - the property had yard games, snacks, and truly anything you could need. The animals were adorable and very gentle. Great place with responsive hosts. Our family loved the property, the views, and the area. We hiked around the state park trails there onsite, explored the little chapel, grilled out, ate around the fire pit, ate at The Chicken House, hiked around Charlestown State Park, watched a lot of March Madness, and just enjoyed being together.

Penny's home is absolutely beautiful! Communication was great, checking in was so easy, and our stay was very nice. We came to town for my brother's wedding and Penny's home was the perfect spot for us. We LOVED the old home and how unique it is. There were so many "extra's" for our stay which made our time even better. We will definitely be back if we are in the area!!

Great place to stay! Very affordable price. One of the cleanest places I've stayed in. Huge yard with beautiful views. Oreo rules the property with an iron paw and offers a warm greeting. He's the sweetest dog and isn't aggressive or invasive at all. if we are ever in southern indiana, we will stay here again.
