Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Watch birds and marine wildlife during your morning coffee on your private outdoor deck. Relax pierside or beachcomb for treasures on the small rock beach. After a day of adventure, bask in your soaker tub, then watch the moon rise over the sea before enjoying a quiet peaceful night's sleep in your plush king bed.

Nestled among the towering trees of Jordan River, BC, Woodshed offers a serene retreat. Clean lines, natural wood finishes, and minimalist design blend with the lush coastal forest. Expansive windows invite dappled light and frame uninterrupted views of evergreens, creating tranquility and connection to the outdoors. Designed to evoke calmness, the space balances warmth and simplicity, where the whisper of trees and distant ocean sounds set the perfect backdrop for rest and reflection.

Our comfortable one bedroom suite has everything you need to relax, and experience the beauty of vancouver island, with the ocean and a forest hike within walking distance. This is a family friendly space with televisions in the bedroom and living room, board games, bluetooth stereo and a dedicated work station. There are numerous wineries close by, noteably cherry point estates two minutes down the road. The suite does not share any of our spaces and includes dedicated laundry.

The nearby communities and lush Cowichan Valley invites you to explore the area by hiking or biking the nearby mountain trails and single track runs, whale watching, fishing or sightseeing by boat, or paddling by kayak or paddle board among the twin river fed bird estuary in the back yard. The area hosts a plethora of bird life from hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, herons, eagles and trumpeter swans to name a few!

Full access to a dock over the Cowibbean cottage’s deck will allow you to further enjoy all the bay has to offer. This bright and spacious bachelor suite gives you a kitchenette for smaller meals (no stove/oven) a full bath with shower and a brand new queen sized bed for lounging or sleeping.

Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Oceanfront Green Cottage on Cowichan Bay

The most magical, breathtaking and reasonably-priced Oceanfront Airbnb Location in the Cowichan Valley... booking availability very limited so please book early! Nestled right on the water, at the mystical foot of Mount Tzouhalem, on Cowichan Bay, this extraordinary location boasts a cozy older (but healthy!) rustic cottage oceanfront getaway. Meditate and commune with the swans, otters, salmon, heron, sea lions and the occasional whale or porpoise.

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.
