Cretan Traditional Stone House of 1850 in the Nature and Flora of Chania

The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.

Chandax luxury villa

Chandax was fully renovated in 2019 in collaboration with the Archaeological Agency of Heraklion to offer a sense of luxury and comfort to distinguished guests. It is one of the few remaining neoclassical buildings in the city center and is listed as a monument by the ministry of culture. Located right in the heart of downtown Heraklion, Chandax is less than a 10 minute walk to restaurants, museums, and beaches. A public parking garage is just around the corner with rates of €6 per night.

Having the village as a starting point one can explore the surrounding area through hiking,trekking,skiing or climbing and enjoy the unique nature and cretan hospitality.

Domicilechania - Venetian Residence

The Domicilechania "Venetian Residence" was built in the14th century and is known as the Venetian Rectors Palace. It was also used as the Treasury and the Archives of the Venetian administration. Overlooking the old harbor and the Venetian lighthouse its view is unique. Ideal for one or two couples or families with max. 3 children. The Venetian Residence is the ideal spot to explore the old city of Chania but also the countryside of the region. The nearest beach is 10 min. on foot.

Villa Rosemari, Anatoli Apartment

"Anatoli" apartment is located in the center of the graphical village of Afrata. The name itself, refers to the sunrise. Here you can enjoy the view from the heights of the peninsula "Spatha" combining the breeze of the beautiful coastal line. Two traditional restaurants are located in the aera near our apartment where you can taste the local products of our place. Concluding, access to the beautiful organized beach of "Afrata" is provided by car, or hiking through a small gorge.
