Set on Mayen Estate, the cabin sits privately in over 700 acres of permaculture gardens and grounds, with exceptional riverside, woodland and meadow walks, friendly Highland Coos & an abundance of native wildlife.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

Accessible self-catering cottage with hot tub

We are delighted to offer this lovely converted steading building. Designed to include guests with varying levels of mobility the comfortable spaces provide a great balance of communal space with sleeping rooms. Sitting on the patio you can enjoy panoramic views over the countryside- which literally comes into your garden. At different times of the year you will see how we grow barley and wheat. We have regular wildlife visitors stopping in past- hares, deer, pheasants and other wild birds.

Bell View Cottage

This unique place has a style all its own. Small but open space detached cottage in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Gardenstown. Bell View offers a quiet get away in a comfortable space only newly renovated in 2023/24. All your home comforts under one roof. One double room with the option of another double within the front room if 4 guests were to stay. A modern kitchen and shower room. Tv, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher and even a small garden also provided within this space.

Paulas Cottage

Quiet Quaint Quirky Cottage. A little semidetached cottage with cosy log burner and rear courtyard with seating. Lovely spot at edge of village with dog walks on doorstep. Local amenities include shops and PO, pharmacy, choice of three takeaways and pub (no food). Brilliant location for exploring the Moray coast and North Aberdeenshire. A short drive to some of the most stunning coastline, Beaches, Sea caves, Lighthouses, Castles, Fishing Villages, Cliff walks, Birdwatching, Wildlife.

This unique place has a style all its own. Dating from the 1750s Georgian property. Newly renovated and furnished. Vaulted ceiling in the living room and very stylish bathroom. Living room has LED mood lighting. Also there's a jukebox. The bedrooms can be 2 king sized beds or 1 king and 2 singles. Communal veranda on the first floor (shared with my other Airbnb). Wifi. Everything you can need for your stay. Very central location, with takeaways, restaurants and great local pub nearby.

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . Shannelton House is located in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside approximately 6 miles from Banff in north-east Scotland. Our accommodation is a converted steading which comprises of 3 self contained holiday apartments. All our apartments are a "home-from-home" and kitchens equipped with everything you need along with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. You can also enjoy a movie in our cinema room, work out in the gym or work up a sweat in the sauna.
