This traditional Highland cottage is spacious, bright and cosy. Original features include a huge 18th century stone fireplace and slate floors, alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king size bed (+travel cot on request). The cottage is set in a private garden with views of fields and trees. Private parking. A fantastic base to discover beautiful walks and Highland landmarks; Strathpeffer village 1 mile, Inverness 18 miles, Route 500 2 miles.

Relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife at this unique location, secluded amongst scots pine and birch trees with stunning views, close to the NC 500 and also right on the door step of a Corbet and a Munro for hill walking. There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges. The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Bonar Bridge Old Police Station Flat

Comfortable 2 bedrooms ground floor flat with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen (electric hob, compact fridge and microwave) and some lovely views to Carn Bren and Kyle of Sutherland. 'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Rowanberry Bothy Retreat - At one with nature

Beautiful stone built bothy dating back to 19th century. Lovingly restored with original stonework around a cosy wood burner. We offer outstanding views across the Kyle of Sutherland and are situated in quiet countryside. The Bothy has a small kitchen (with limited cooking e.g. Airfryer ), bathroom with shower and use of laundry facilities if required. . We are situated 1 hour North of Inverness and only 1 hour from Ullapool on the stunning NC500 route. BBQ and charcoal provided.

The cottage is in a rural location with the nearest town being 5 miles away, so having your own transport is essential.
