Detached cabin, self catering, on decking next to main residence Ideal for out and about couple. Wonderful open outlook with views over River Dee. MAX 2 adults. 1 dog. Absolutely NO SMOKING in the Cabin A Double bed, with storage underneath, single CHAIR bed, TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, airfryer, toaster, dishes, etc, WC & shower. NO hob or oven. Towels, bed linen, usual necessities provided Heating; oil filled radiators. Nice river side walk into town. Off road parking, room for bikes.

The kitchenette includes a sink, fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave. Please note, there's no oven/hob. There's plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. There's broadband & Freesat TV. You'll find a hanging rail & chest of drawers for storage. The cabin is in a separate area of the property with its own private garden/patio. Parking is available.

Oak Tree Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

At the end of that track you will find a fully modernised cottage with elevated, private garden views of the Mull of Galloway, Isle of Man and the charming fishing village of Port William. Only a short walk from Dumfries town centre, Dumfries museum, globe inn & Burns house. Dumfries has lots of historic and charming buildings including Caerlaverick castle, Sweetheart Abbey or Drumlanrig castle. Also a great hub for anyone interested in visiting Mabie forest, 7 stanes, solway coast and lots more.

The Old Schoolhouse

A Victorian Schoolhouse, now a cozy and stylish home. The Old Schoolhouse has 3 bedrooms, shower room & en suite bathroom. Wood stove in the lounge, open fire in the kitchen, and central heating. Light, bright, with a large garden looking onto the fields beyond- snowdrops in the spring, cherries in summer, and apples in autumn. The occasional escapee hen wandering about. The perfect place for a proper holiday.

The Lodge @ Slogarie, Rewilding Humans since 2019

The Lodge has the most amazing views and sunsets that must be seen to be believed! Surrounded by farmland on a private estate The Lodge is a perfect getaway for larger groups. 5 bedrooms (sleep 10), The Lodge has a unique open plan living area that is reminiscent of a Skiing Chalet with a private garden to the rear and decking area to the front. Walking, nature, scenery and relaxation await!

Marchfield Cottage is a recently converted barn in a quiet corner of Gatehouse of Fleet. Local pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops are all within a short walk. Other attractions on your doorstep include numerous walking trails in Cally Woods, on and off road cycle routes in the Galloway Forest and quiet beaches where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of this area.
