A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

I'd highly recommend Eleanor's place for those looking for great accomodation in a great location. It went beyond my expectations and she was a great host. It's been added to the list of places i'd return too!

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location in the Fife countryside, with fantastic views over the Forth river. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Will hopefully be back sometime. Thankyou.

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

A gorgeous retreat for a girls weekend. Crieff within a short driving distance for a wee wander round the shops and a coffee. Fairly well equipped kitchen - enough to make simple meals. The hot tub was sublime after a day out. The most lovely views whether the sun is shining or the mist is rolling in! Dina was helpful and easily contactable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wee haven in amongst the busyness of life!

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Had a great stay here, everything was here that I needed, my dogs were also very well catered for. I had to change the plans a couple of times and Anne was very responsive and very helpful. Would 100% recommend this little apartment, it was small but perfectly formed with a quaint little courtyard. Love it.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

Beautiful relaxing cottage in a very peaceful and convenient part of Scotland. Easy drive from the airport if you have satnav/ GPS. The furnishings and especially the bedding was of top quality, much better than you would expect in a rental unit. Very friendly, knowledgeable welcoming and responsive hosts. Beautiful walk through their farmland from the cottage, Libby came over to welcome us and ensure all was well. She brought two very friendly sheep dogs that work with them on the farm.

Great place to stay! Short walk to the beach, and across the road from the Bowhouse. Which is worth a visit for the food!

We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

What a fabulous little find, cosy cottage fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bed was so comfortable had a great nights sleep. Great location for shops and food. House was spotlessly clean and fab complimentary toiletries. Host was good communicator and was good to know they were available and on hand if needed which we didnt as everything was perfect. Good base for exploring Ballater , Braemar and the surrounding area including Lochnagar.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely little details in the decor and a super powerful shower. Kathryn was friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend the cottage.

We have just returned from a weekend away at Braeside Cottage. The cottage was beautifully furnished and super clean. Andreas and Karen have put so much love and attention into this wonderful cottage and their hospitality was fantastic with homemade shortbread, fresh flowers, a few basics and a bottle of Prosecco awaiting our arrival. On the morning of our departure Andreas arrived with freshly made scones and set out the table and chairs in the garden for us to enjoy them in the beautiful surroundings . He was extremely flexible regards an early checkin and later departure allowing us a little more time to spend enjoying Pitlochry. All in all a wonderful experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending Braeside Cottage, hope to return again soon. With grateful thanks Marie & John Duffy.

Cute place, small but perfect for a few days away. Everything has been cleverly thought of to fit a tiny space. It’s a great location too but you do need to book if you want to eat at the pub as it is very busy!

Lovely cottage and surroundings. Homemade bread on arrival was a nice touch. Read in earlier reviews about deer on the lawn. It's true! Would highly recommend.

Myself and my husband loved staying at the cottage. It was beautifully decorated, super cozy and very clean. We would recommend anyone coming to Scotland to stay here.
