We flipped the house upside down to allow views across the sea and ever changing shoreline. With a small open planned living space upstairs, and 2 dainty doubles downstairs. Beautiful blues in summer and choppy dark seas in winter. We absolutely love this little place, completely run by family and used as a holiday home when time allows.

The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.
