Relax in the hot tub on the backyard deck while enjoying a beautiful view of the red cliffs and creek! We are located just 15 minutes from downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to Trimble Hot Springs. There is also a cafe, gas station, and liquor store half a mile away. We also have another studio airbnb on this property

Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a very friendly Labrador Retriever and a Basset Hound that live on this property but not allowed in the apt.

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway in the rural Hesperus/ Durango/Mancos area. The views of the La Platas and Sleeping Ute are ever changing, awe inspiring, and constant from the rustic deck of The Art Shack. This is a glamping cabin with a composting toilet and queen bed.
