Our house is perfectly situated for visiting all that Exeter has to offer. It sits just below the old city wall across the road from the River Exe, a short walk from the centre with shops, eateries and historic features. Use the Miller's Crossing footbridge opposite, and stroll along the river to the old Quay. There is a rear garden and - a real bonus - a designated parking space in a private car park behind the house. Please note: we have not raised our price; it now includes Airbnb fees.

Whether you're here for a short stay or a longer visit, you’ll find comfort and convenience throughout.

The Shippon. Unique luxurious South Devon getaway.

A calm, deeply luxurious space to recharge & reconnect. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

It is in a friendly, quiet suburb of the city, just 2/3 mins walk from the nearest train station, bus stop, shop, cafe and takeaway, and about 1.5 miles from the city centre. An ideal base for a city break, or from which to explore the beautiful Devon coastline (25 mins drive to Exmouth and the famous Jurassic Coast) or the spectacular wilds of Dartmoor.

Only a short walk from Exeter St Davids and Central railway station, city centre shopping, bars, restaurants and Exeter university. The apartment is in an ideal location to discover Exeter and offers a relaxing space to explore from. The Studio space is one room with a double bed and sofa bed. There is unfortunately no private parking but Bystock car park two mins away is free overnight .

This Grade II listed building is perfectly placed for all central Exeter has to offer, whilst also being tucked away. You can explore Exeter’s history, visit the Cathedral, Underground passages or go on a guided tour with Exeter Red Coats. There is plenty of shopping to do, whether that be the big brands located in Princesshay or independent boutiques located in Gandy Street and Fore Street. There is also a multitude of places to eat from the bigger chains to local independents.
