Qué harás

You will participate in a Ho'oponopono Bowl of Light sunset ceremony.
Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of setting things right.
Ho'o = to make. Pono = good/right.

We will prepare for the ceremony with an opening chant to bless the land and deepen our connection to it. Then I will teach you how to make your own sacred ki leaf lei for your wrist or ankle. I will share cultural insights and practices as we prepare for the Bowl of Light Ceremony by learning the 4 powerful healing statements of Ho'oponopono. I will also teach you a sacred Aloha chant.

At sunset, you will be ready for your personal Bowl of Light Ceremony!

You can practice this any time or at any sunset for the rest of your life.

Your bowl and lei will be your reminders to live in the peace of this practice. Your ki leaf lei will dry as a keepsake. You may also choose to make another lei to give as a sacred offering when you leave the island.

I look forward to celebrating this special ceremony with you on your Hawaiian holiday.

Aloha, I am Kaimana.

Raised in Hilo, HI, I have been sharing this island with friends and visitors for most of my life.
For years I was a popular guide for Wasabi tour company.
(See TripAdvisor - Kai for Wasabi Tours).

I have been interested in the Hawaiian cultural practices and the history of the island for most of my life. I have been blessed to be trained by several amazing elders in their areas of expertise including Hooponopono (spiritual healing), La'au Lapa'au (plant medicines), and Lomilomi (masssage).

I am excited to offer unique, special experiences for you while in Hawaii

Kai was extremely welcoming and accommodating. He has a rich and deep understanding of Hawaiian culture. My fiance and I left the experience with a new sense of gratitude and passion for Hawaii's history. Would definitely recommend!

Loved it! My daughters, mother & I were thrilled with this experience! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a little zen & learn more about Hawaiian culture & traditions in a personalized low key way.

I am still in awe at how amazing of an experience this was. Kaimana was super welcoming and knowledgeable with regards to the coordination of the ho'o ponopono ceremony. I was wondering how the 2 hours would unfold, but it went by in a blink of an eye. We covered history, culture, making leis, and a lot of other components that I don't want to ruin for you. If you're looking for a spiritual experience of a lifetime and want to truly immerse yourself in one of many traditions of the Hawai'ian culture, then you'll definitely want to partake. I will forever carry what I experienced as I continue this crazy journey we call life!

This was a unique experience. Typically not something we would do but we enjoyed the stories and lei making. The park was beautiful and we got the chance to see whales swimming in the background. Kaimana was very friendly and welcoming. Get ready for chanting and active participation. We had a lovely time!

Things learned and experienced have remained with me ever since. Unforeseen happenings shortened my time on the Big Island, making the take-homes from this experience with Kaimana that much more meaningful.

Kaimana is a wonderful and very spiritually deep person. While it was an experience he was also like a motivational speaker and we left feeling positive
