Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

A gem of a home if you’re looking for a waterfront property with great lake access. David’s home is well stocked with everything you need - from baking to cooking , from laundry to great choices of board games , a nice library if reading by the water is what you care to do . If you’re a bass fisherman like me , you have direct access to Squantz Pond, which can be a great fishing alternative to nearby Candlewood Lake. The property is close to the main road and traffic can be a nuisance to folks who are not used to it . City folks like me don’t mind it. David was a great host , very responsive . There was a slight miscommunication during check in , but that was taken care of right away . My family hopes to come back again . BTW, for those who don’t know how to play the piano , take some brief lessons before coming and impress your folks. Joe

This was the perfect weekend getaway - the house is cozy and beautiful, the neighborhood was lovely, had incredible views and offered so much to see and do. The fireplace was amazing, great kitchen with everything you need and the host was highly communicative and helpful. I can't wait to return!

My family and I had a lovely Easter stay at Klaira's house. The home is very nicely laid out and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and everything was spotless. There is a nice outdoor deck and gazebo area but the weather was a bit chilly so we did not get a chance to enjoy. We are familiar with this part of Connecticut so we had lots to do. The beautiful Weir Farm National Historic Park is nearby as are hiking trails and good restaurants a short drive away in Ridgefield and in Wilton. I recommend Klaria's comfortable house rather than a hotel for anyone looking for a family gathering spot for your New England stay.

This place is sublime. Beautifully furnished and styled, this is possibly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Feels much more like a home than a rental. Serene and quiet with a deck and stone terrace overlooking the pond, the sounds of the waterfall, birds and the wind in the trees are perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing stay. The expansive living room, dining area and kitchen flow well together and make for a fantastic social space with direct access to the terrace. And the whole place is a delightful blend of historic charm and modern living. The open fireplaces add a whole other level of charm. The kitchen is also really well equipped with a good array of spices, condiments Rd nets and more for anyone looking to cook (which we did). Erin is also a great host. Highly responsive and very helpful. We were a party of 5 and we all agreed we want to return.

Such a beautiful home with lots of open space and quiet rooms, great for both hosting friends or finding a comfy place to sit and read. 10 min drive to beautiful downtown New Milford, it was the great place to rest and relax. Simple, yet has every thing you would want and/or need. I would definitely stay again!

The hospitality was outstanding! From the moment you walk into the apartment, it gives off that luxurious 5-star hotel vibe—if not better! Communication with the host was excellent, and the location is perfect, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away.

One of the BEST Airbnbs I've had the pleasure to stay at! 🏠🧡 I booked it last minute & Pamela was so sweet, very responsive and accomodating. The home looks exactly like the pics: beautifully decorated, comfy, VERY clean and with all of the essentials needed to have a perfect stay. This is our second stay at Henry’s first floor apartment. We were in town to visit family for our grandmothers 100th birthday . The place is exactly as described and in the photos. It feels like home, extremely clean. The beds are wonderful, linens and towels are exceptional. We loved that we could bring our two small dogs and there is an area in the back for them. The covered deck was nice to sit on in the morning and have a coffee. There is a grill out back and a table on the deck for six people. There is also a lovely deck out front to sit on too. The neighbors are friendly and the place is on a quiet dead end street. On the day of check-in, Henry sent a message to say the place was ready earlier which we appreciated. We definitely recommend Henry’s place and he is a great host.

Karleen can only be called a gracious and hospitable host. The huge studio is beautifully decorated and has everything a person would need to move in and stay permanently! The space is also comfortable -- I literally felt torn between hanging out in the Airbnb and actually spending the days out with my friends! The neighborhood where the studio is located is up-scale, quiet and safe. Karleen's place was my first and immediate choice when I went on Airbnb to book my stay -- the photographs just told me "this is the one." I will for sure book another stay there when I return to the area to see my friends again. As anyone who reads this can surmise, I recommend Karleen and her beautiful studio most highly. Liz S.

Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

We had a wonderful weekend in Stamford. The apartment was very nice. The location was convenient. We took the train into NYC for a Broadway show. It was very easy. We would definitely do this again.

We stayed at Juan's home for 2 weeks while renovations were being done on our home, which is very close to Juan's home. Juan is a fantastic host: extremely responsive and accommodating. The house itself is just as good - if not better - than the photos would have you believe. It is comfortable, clean, modern, and spacious. We were thrilled to be able to stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering booking it.

Our second time at Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. We love this home because Anuja really understands what a guest needs and would like - so many extra touches, like beautiful linens, nice soaps and shampoos, wood for fire, lots of cookware and serving pieces, and beautiful art. Beds are comfy and towels are top notch. It snowed while we were there, beautiful, and the drive was promptly plowed. Our friends speak Danish, and they kept using the word hygge for the house. (Cosy and welcoming) We agree and will definitely be back. Thank you Anuja for another lovely stay!
