Eastburn: Gorgeous 2-bed cottage near St Andrews

Eastburn Cottage was created from our lovingly converted 200 year old cartshed. On 13 acres of grounds accessed via a 400 metre track, Braeside Farm is tranquil yet a 10-15 minute drive to St Andrews and less than an hour from Edinburgh Airport. Eastburn is a 2 bedroom cottage (the one on the right) with a kitchen and living room upstairs and a master bedroom (en suite) and smaller bedroom (with a triple bunk bed), bathroom and WC downstairs. Front door is at the top of the steps in the gable.

Corner Cottage is situated in the heart of Falkland, Fife. A great location for a romantic or family getaway. Get your walking boots on and explore the surrounding nature such as Maspie Den, Lomond Hills and the historical Falkland Estate. Visit local cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs and of course, Falkland Palace, to enjoy the local atmosphere. A beautiful garden full of beautiful flowers and colourful plants will delight you from March till October. The cottage was a stable in the 17th and 18th centuries and now is a pleasant and charming place to stay. Enjoy a king size bed, cozy conservatory, blackout curtains, kitchen amenities , SMART tv, Netflix, wifi and other facilities.

The Studio at Old Lathrisk

The Studio at Old Lathrisk (FI 00782 F) is a ground floor apartment in a 16th century Scottish country house near Falkland (where the series #Outlander is filmed!). It's a beautiful, stylish, cosy holiday space for 2 with an ensuite shower room and self catering cooking facilities. A perfect romantic hideaway with doorstep parking, a private entrance and access to the family's large beautiful garden. The countryside apartment is set in mature parkland with a beech lined driveway to the house.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has fantastic food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. Fine dining at the Boar's Head in nearby Auchtermuchty.
