Perched along the shores of picturesque Sawyer Lake, the Fox Den offers fishing, and water-sports friendly waters. A nature lovers delight, unique birds frequent the property. Evening campfires offer broad clear views of the Milky Way. This quaint property offers use of an on-site dock that can accommodate a pontoon or a boat. There is a boat launch at the adjacent park. Sawyer lake is known for excellent fishing and no watercraft restrictions. In colder seasons warm up by the wood stove.

South Republic is a small, quiet community located less than an hour southwest of Marquette and 30 minutes from Ishpeming. Republic is a also a great place for fishing and hosts an annual fishing derby in July

🌿The Sugar Shack is a cozy 12x12 rustic cabin tucked into 40 Acres of Northwoods and located 17 miles north of Marquette. Hidden in the foothills of the Huron Mountains, you will be in close proximity to our best hiking trails, waterfalls and beaches. The little town of Big Bay is nearby with a general store, fuel, bar, cafe and restaurant.
