Black Mountain Annex offers the perfect country retreat. Nestled at the foot of the Black Mountains in Mid Wales, the area offers a stunning and relaxing stay. Walk,eat,drink,canoe,mountain bike or explore the beautiful book town of Hay On Wye or the old market town of Talgarth. We are one hour away from Cardiff and one hour fifteen from Bristol. Close by is Brecon whereby access to the old Brecon and Monmouth canal and the ever popular Brecon Beacons national park are so easily accessible.

Beautiful Cottage with Suntrap Garden
The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

1 mile from Hay, dog friendly, private parking
Little Pentwyn is in Clyro, a village one mile from Hay-on-Wye. It's an annex on our home and close to other houses but still a quiet area. Cosy accommodation for two or four (with sofa bed). Open plan living area, fitted kitchen, bathroom comprises of bath with shower over. Large deck with sofa and dining area. Central heated, wifi and ample free private parking. Local walks from the property or a short drive away. I have a 2 bedroom flat (Pentwyn Barn) available to book via Airbnb.

Black Swan Holiday Cottage
Originally built in 1623, this former public house is wonderfully situated between the heart of town and the banks of the River Wye. Come and stay with us and enjoy our relaxing rooms that offer a flat screen TV and free WiFi. When you arrive you will be directed to your own private parking area. After a days activities, relax with a book on the comfy sofas in the large sitting/dining room. If you fancy cooking, the property has full cooking facilities and a large dining table.

Relax and enjoy a stay on a smallholding in Herefordshire. The upper floor of a one bedroomed annex with its own shower-room. On the landing is a small area with facilities to make your own breakfast, including microwave and three quarter size fridge. Own entrance, a small patio area at front. Off road parking. Hosts live in the main house. The accommodation is on the edge of a village so no street lighting. Village shop and local pub in walking distance.
