The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

Great place for a family. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, appliances and tools for our stay. Beautiful location, right on the river with a huge lawn for yard games, fire pit, and to have the kids run around.

Tucked along the quiet northern edge of Antioch, this house doesn’t just offer a place to stay - it gives you something to feel. Vaulted ceilings, custom barnwood beds, and raw concrete countertops set the tone: warm, solid, and built with intent. The private beach isn’t flashy - it’s better. Soft sand, still water, and no reason to rush. Grill outside, gather at the big family-style table, then sweat it all out in the sauna that feels like it was made to erase stress. The beds hit the sweet spot between firm and forgiving. Every corner of the place feels curated without being pretentious. Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

My family and I traveled to DeKalb on business and found Sara & Pablo's place to be perfect! The house was roomy and clean. The water pressure and wifi were good. The bedrooms had room darkening shades/curtains that really did the trick. The dining area was spacious and lit beautifully with all of the windows. I also found the work space to be perfect for my needs. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt very safe. The parking was in the driveway. My daughter and I walked quite a but and visited the older downtown area and enjoyed shopping! We recommend eating at French Toast- the food was FABULOUS! If you love to shop unique stores: This & That, Cracker Jax (a must!), Found, Thyme & Again, Found, and for an indie bookstore, Robyn's Nest. For a great dessert try Insomnia Cookies. If we are in the area again, I will definitely try to stay with Sara & Pablo again! I highly recommend their place!

I stayed at Sharron’s house for two months and felt right at home. The house was spacious with a nice backyard. It was very cozy and had many amenities available to allow for an easy stay. The neighborhood was quiet and nice, with a large park nearby. Sharron was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay at Sharron’s house again if I returned to the area.

Beautiful home with amazing views. Very peaceful and serene setting; you forget the house is in a small residential community. The accommodations were very comfortable with lots of room for a larger group to spread out. We would love to come back again for a longer stay to enjoy canoeing, fishing and hit the beach. Mindy was quick to respond to the few questions I had. Almost forgot, LOVED THE FIREPLACE!! Thank you!

We were in the area for a family wedding. Decided to pull our own boat down to experience Lake Geneva. The home itself was much bigger than I imagined from pictures. Its clean. Its basic. No frills. So if you are looking for frills, probably not the place for you. There was room to park our boat off the street. The fenced in back yard with deck, table with umbrella was such a nice option. That's where we spent the majority of our time when we weren't some where else. You are just a short walk from the lake/beach area. As far as boating on the lake..... unless you like crazy busy and waves the size of deep sea fishing.... keep your boat home. (PS... we are from a very rural area, so it might just be what one is use to) The rental met all of our needs. Thank you for your hospitality

The Lake House was a great find. It had all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. We made all our meals at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with what we could need. We’re big coffee drinkers and the keurig was definitely a bonus for us. It was lovely waking up to views of the lake every morning. This place was also dog friendly and our dog enjoyed looking out at the lake and watching the geese. It was cold during our stay so we didn’t have a chance to enjoy the patio or fire pit but it must be very enjoyable in the warmer months. The host was also very attentive, reaching out to see if we needed anything. So if you’re visiting the area, I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Noam was very communicative and friendly. His cabin was cozy and everything I wanted. He had disc golf on the property as well as a beautiful private lake. We will definitely be back next year and highly recommend this spot!

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Deirdre’s home! It’s a gorgeous property with lots of charm and space, and so many great amenities (theater room, claw foot bathtub, Sonos speakers, ample parking, etc.). Deirdre was also very responsive throughout the process and even helped us with a more flexible checkout time. Absolutely recommend visiting her home, we’re already wishing for another trip!

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

Debbie was very communicative before and during our stay. The property has plenty of yard room for outdoor activities and we loved that we didn’t feel stacked up against a bunch of other houses. The driveway can accommodate a group of cars and we loved the reclining couch in the basement. I’d highly recommend this property.

Spent a vacation here with my family, everything was accurately described and easy to get in and had everything I needed. I recommend this location and housing for any get-aways.

We hardly know where to begin! Originally, we chose this place as a little escape from the city and a spot for our pup, Roo, to run and explore. However, The Tiny Red House far exceeded our expectations in every way! To start, the yard was absolutely perfect. On top of that, the area is filled with beautiful, dog-friendly trails, making it an ideal getaway for nature lovers. As for the house itself—it was by far the most well-stocked Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! No other rental even comes close. We also fell in love with the location—close enough to the lake for convenience yet peacefully tucked away for privacy. To say we had a great time would be an understatement! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We truly appreciate the thought and care that went into making this place so special.

The little blue bungalow was the perfect getaway for a weekend! We are new to the Midwest and enjoyed a snowy picturesque weekend at Chelsea and Cale’s awesome place. Very cute decor, environmentally friendly, lovely hosts and great location. We’ll have to come back in the summer sometime!

This stay provided a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Perfect space and amenities. Maria provided perfect communication and the location was safe and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom while the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The bathrooms has great amenities and are spacious as well. The kitchen was clean and had anything you could want or need to make a meal. Maria even thought of some other items like Tupperware and parchment paper. The coffee maker was serviceable. The gift basket was truly indulgent and appreciated. The big sofa was comfy and the tvs are the perfect size with any app you may want. While it was cold outside and I didn't get to enjoy the property, it was certainly still beautiful and lovely to enjoy my coffee and watch the snow in the mornings. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Thank you for letting me staying.

We were happy to stay here as adults and a golden retriever on a beautiful fall weekend. Easy to get to town and the lake, comfortable spaces for gathering, and a big peaceful backyard that we all appreciated. Nikki was a friendly and helpful host with explanations of the house and restaurant recommendations. Nice to know: the 2 upstairs bedrooms are comfortable but each have a side with an angled lower ceiling- careful if you’re taller. There are one or two small steps up to both the front and side doors. There is a nice main floor primary suite tho for anyone who has trouble with more substantial stairs We would definitely stay here again!

This place exceeded my expectations. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a nice vacation with a stunning setup and a fantastic host!

Jamie’s place was a perfect spot to stay in Chicago. There is access to the L within a few miles (with parking structure), and there are many walkable places locally. We highly recommend Caesar Pierogis on West Irving (offers gluten free pierogis). The neighborhood is charming and safe for walking. After long days of exploring, we came back to Jamie’s place and enjoyed watching Netflix and relaxing in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, and there is a grocery store within walking distance. Jamie is a very thoughtful host, and her home is quite accommodating. We had a lovely get away. Thank you, Jamie!

The house was exactly as described in the ad, very neat and clean. Andrea noticed the WiFi went off and checked in to see if we needed her to come and reset it. The location was a walk away from the lake and many places to eat. Will book again with Andrea
