Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Joyce's cottage is one of two adjoining traditional cottages (the other being Derrypark Cottage which is also available for rent).

All of the bathrooms have heated towel rails and the bedrooms hairdryers. Sleeps maximum of 6 people. The Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, Ashford Castle, Kylemore Abbey, salmon/trout fishing, golf courses and horseback riding are some of many attractions of this region.
