During WINTER: must have AWD or FWD, experience driving in serious winter weather (snow, severe wind, extreme cold); the cabin is located on gravel roads & dirt driveway. Get the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins! Our rustic, "Moose Themed" cabin is conveniently located 7.7 miles from West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This is one of four cabins on the property. There is a private fishing pond on the property for our guests to enjoy as well as a rodeo and horseback riding from mid June-mid August. A fire pit is also located outside the cabin for roasting marshmallows and relaxing!

North Yellowstone Cabins

Come and spend time in our Sheep Mountain cabin that was hand built with logs from the local forest, on our family ranch where you can pet the sheep and feed the horses right out your front door. See Yellowstone and then come back to the cabin to let the kids play while you sit and unwind on the porch or by a fire in the fire pit as you watch the stars come out. We are just 5 minutes from the North Entrance to Yellowstone Park. We no longer accept pets, sorry.
