It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

'Ruth's Place' is a 2 bedroom annexe adjoining our family home. Situated on the outskirts of Scorton village. This stylish annexe is newly furnished with quality fixtures and fittings with everything you need for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the beautiful countryside. With plenty of walks right from the doorstep, walking distance to the 2 village pubs, village shop, and tea room. Located 5 miles to Richmond and 5 minutes drive to A1 Scotch Corner.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

The Old School

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful walks and bike trails in the local area. Beautiful views over the fields and hills within the Dales National Park. This detached house is within the boundary of our own property so we are always on hand to help in any way we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. Within walking distance of the local village which has all the basic local amenities including a local history museum.

Willow Cottage, cosy & quirky

1 bedroom self catering cottage, set in a quite location in the heart of Middleton-in-Teesdale, a small Market town in County Durham, surrounded by the North Pennines an area of outstanding natural beauty . A few miles north of Barnard Castle. Middleton in Teesdale is on the Pennine Way, about 4 miles from High Force Waterwall. Dogs are very welcome. wifi available

With a ten minute walk to Cockfield, there is a friendly local pub, shops, butchers, takeaway and newsagent.
