Tabitabi Shinsen | Kyoto Machiya near Nijo Castle

[Tabitabi Shinsen] is a traditional two-storey machiya , which was built in the Taisho era with more than one hundred years history. The name Shinsen comes from one of the oldest famous courtyard in Kyoto during Heian Period, "Shinsenen", which is located near our house. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan and the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.

Traditional Kyoto House Gion no Yado (No.3)

[Gion no Yado] is located a short distance from the main street. Please relax in a Kyoto-style old private house. The exterior retains the atmosphere of old-fashioned Japan, while the interior has been renovated with a slightly modern atmosphere. This inn is not charged per room, but charged according to the number of guests. Please enter the number of guests when making a reservation. Thank you.

Stay in a former ryokan

This authentic traditional Kyoto townhouse (machiya) is located on the central island of Kyoto, close to the river, Kyoto JR station and the city-center. It used to be a typical ryokan inn. In this traditional house of 3 floors, entirely refurbished on 2020, you will be invited to stay on the second floor and have your private appartement there. The house is composed of 4 private apartments.

【Kouhaku Tofukuji】ｍachiya inn near Tofukuji Temple

The geographical location is excellent. The famous attractions Tofukuji Temple and Sanjusangendo Temple are about 10 minutes' walk away, Kyoto National Museum is 15 minutes' walk away, and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine is 10 minutes' by train. A 5-minute walk from JR Tofukuji Station! Supermarkets and shopping streets are within walking distance, which is very convenient.

京町家 天の川 〔Maison à Kyoto Amanogawa〕

This is a nice place to visit Kyoto, just near the river Shirakawa, a really nice place sometimes used for movies or series. The house is near Chioin, Kodaiji, Higashiyama, Yasaka shrine. Just near the house, there is an old market where you can buy and eat Japanese food.
