Rowan Cottage is a light, bright, three bedroom cottage. The cottage, which was once the village police officer’s station and home, accommodates up to six people and offers beautiful views over the delightful Esk Valley. Rowan cottage sits within the beautiful village of Sleights, nestled between the seaside town of Whitby, and the ever changing North Yorkshire Moors. The cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the area, and is well connected by road, bus and rail.

Photographers House Staithes

A sunlit home in a village of artists and fishermen on the edge of the North York Moors. Once a studio for a Victorian photographer and later home to ‘Dolphin Man’ Dr Horace Dobbs. With garden, terrace and a spacious lounge, it’s perfect for relaxing or exploring. Due to a settings glitch, we unusually have September availability—including the Staithes Festival (13–14 Sept). There is another log burner in the snug sitting room. Bedroom 3 has an en-suite and bedrooms 1 and 2 share a bathroom with a walk in shower. Great wifi speeds , self check in.
