The spacious open-plan living area has underfloor heating and large picture windows offer stunning views south, across open countryside. Situated a small apple farm, Appletree is perfectly located for walking, golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, riding, wildlife spotting and the local village cafe.

Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Our cosy garden cottage with bedsit, kitchen-diner and log-stove is the ideal base for exploring the Trossachs/Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Located in scenic, rural Kippen, we are a 5 minute walk from shops, post office and two award winning gastro-pubs: The Cross Keys and The Inn at Kippen. A busy farm shop with a Deli counter and cafe is on the outskirts of the village. Kippen was listed as one of the 20 best villages in Britain in the The Times newspaper.

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
