It's not far from the beach & large shopping malls. The cottage has a queen size bed, air-conditioner, ensuite shower & loo, fitted kitchen, DSTV (all channels), Wifi & secure off-street parking. Note that there are DISCOUNTS FOR WEEK-LONG and MONTH-LONG bookings.

Excellent WIFI Very peaceful, private,and spacious, with a unique, beautiful large and modern "walk-in" rain shower and a large full fitted kitchen, with gas HOB (no oven) use of Washing machine and dishwasher for longer stays. Very central. Perfect for 2 adults but can accommodate 3. King size bed can be split into 2 singles. Self-catering Free-standing cottage situated in a residential area. Open plan living room. Work space with 2 built-in USB charging ports. Very central to everything.

The Res Unit

This barn style (artisanal) unit is a building experiment. We attempted a honest space that is modest yet delivers on the spatial needs of an occupant. We have pushed building materials to their end and happy with the result. It is not fancy but tasteful with an intimate touch. The step down shower made of raw concrete can double up as a tub. It is fully kitted kitchenette with a two plate gas stove, bar fridge, microwave and kettle. This unit overlooks a tucked wooden deck for your use.

Jungle Oasis

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

The Studio on Elston

A quaint studio apartment, located in a quiet neighborhood, situated behind our family home. The apartment is ideally suited for 1 person but does have a Queen size bed if you are a couple. Secure off street parking is provided with a private entrance to the apartment. Less then 1 km to upmarket restaurants, 5km to the Pavilion Shopping Centre and only 12km to the beach and city. My office is on the property and so I am happy to assist with any queries you may have.

Conveniently located near the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, King Edward VIII Hospital, and UKZN. For longer stays, the apartment is serviced weekly, with washing and ironing available on request. Popular with visiting medical students from around the world.

Our garden cottage is situated above our home and has a separate entrance with a carport. It is a perfect place to relax with harbour and city views. The cottage is situated close to UKZN (1.4km), DUT (3km), St Augustine’s Hospital (900m), LifeHealth Entabeni Hospital (1km) and King Edward VIII Hospital (3.8 km). Popular restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios and the artisanal Glenwood Bakery are nearby.

Kemp’s Corner - with Power Supply

Come and stay at our warm and welcoming Kemp’s Corner. This is a private 1 bed studio self-catering flatlet with a UPS for loadshedding/electricity outages, there is also the availability of a second private bedroom if needed (Additional costs apply). There is an inter leading door which is locked when only 2 guests stay, and opened when 3 or 4 guests stay. The bathroom and kitchenette are shared spaces.
