The Hut on the Brett

Our shepherd’s hut is situated in a private part of our garden on the banks of the River Brett in the historic village of Lavenham, a two-minute walk from the Market Place with its Medieval Guildhall and Little Hall, a 14th century hall house. Lavenham has much to offer with its listed buildings, independent shops, restaurants, pubs and two small but well-stocked supermarkets. Footpaths make it easy to access the surrounding countryside and enjoy views of the village and its magnificent church.

We are just over 5 minutes’ drive from Newlands Hall wedding venue and Writtle University College, 15 minutes from the Reid Rooms and Highland Park House, and 6 miles from Chelmsford, with it's thriving city centre, main line train link to London, Anglia Ruskin University and Broomfield Hospital.
