Nestled in between woodland within the ancient temperate rainforest of Borrowdale in the Lake District; our wooden glamping pod is an idyllic place to base yourselves to explore the National Nature Reserve and beyond. We are situated near Grange village, with miles of footpaths from our doorstep, adventure awaits! We recommend the pod suits a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. There is one double bed and one double sofa bed in the pod. If 4 adults stay, the pod becomes quite tight for space.

Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

Grange Bridge Cottage occupies one of the most iconic settings within the Lake District National Park. Situated at the entrance to the picturesque village of Grange in Borrowdale. Formally a tea shop providing refreshments to weary walkers, the cottage becomes your very own Base Camp from which to explore, adventure or just relax in the hot tub while taking in the grandeur of the setting and the abundant wildlife. We are a nature friendly farm at the foot of Catbells. Great walking straight from the door. We cater for walkers and cyclists who will appreciate the peace and quiet of the location. The accommodation is very basic with a small kitchen area, a wood burning stove, 3 single mattresses, and a double bed on the mezzanine. The bathroom is next to the camping barn, and there is a washing up area outside.
