Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in its own private meadow, enjoying far reaching views of the fells. Choose to hunker down in the hut with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from the main street in Sedbergh village and the Yorkshire Dales Way is right outside the front door. It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type.
