Beautiful, peaceful oasis with a wonderful view and incredibly kind hosts. Thilda has created a sanctuary overlooking the lake, with all the needs for simple living well met. So lovely to relax among the trees, flowers, birds, and butterflies. Both Thilda and Pedro are very sweet, caring and considerate — they truly made sure I had anything I needed. The room feels larger than it appears in the photos, although it is the smaller (and darker, when the door is closed) of the guest rooms. I found it comfortable for one person, but I think it would be very tight with two. The room’s windows open directly on to walkway from the other room, and the door opens onto the garden area, shared outdoor shower, basin, and toilet (it’s helpful to know that sound does travel!) However it is away from the noise of tuk tuks and most of the village dogs, so almost all you hear are birds, crickets, and the lanchas on the lake. It’s a really special, serene retreat, and I highly recommend staying here.

El hospedaje en Pastores fue una gran experiencia: la ubicación resultó muy apropiada, no está en la ciudad pero el pueblo cuenta con servicio de bus y es muy rápido el acceso al centro de la Antigua (nuestra anfitriona nos ofreció el transporte a un precio muy cómodo también), el lugar es muy tranquilo y seguro; nuestra habitación tenía una hermosa vista al volcán y la atención por parte de Azucena y su familia, nuestros anfitriones, siempre fue muy cálida y agradable. Los desayunos que nos ofrecieron en la casa eran deliciosos y con una excelente preparación! Además, Azucena nos recomendó muchas actividades y atracciones turísticas para visitar, nos ofreció también el servicio de transporte a las mismas. Las habitaciones se encontraban muy aseadas y ordenadas, con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia agradable. En general, fue una muy buena oportunidad para conocer más de Guatemala y su gente!

Place was perfect for a few days getting to know Antigua. Dido went above and beyond with communication and recommendations. Highly recommend this place.

I stayed here at Thilda's place for about a month and had a very nice time. The property is very pretty and quiet, with a beautiful garden and a terrace with a great view of the lake. The apartment is basic but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was working remotely here, and I was able to do video calling and download files. Streaming movies and sports worked OK as well. Because the house uses limited solar power, there is no refrigerator or other appliances like a blender. There is a cold box in the garden which seemed to keep things fresh slightly longer, but don't expect it to work like a fridge. The bathroom is shared with the other room here, which has a little less privacy than the room I stayed in. Thilda's property is a great place to stay for a short or long time. She and Pedro were very welcoming. You can enjoy the beauty of the lake while relaxing in one of the prettiest and quietest towns in the area.

One of our favourite air bnbs of all time. Friendly and responsive hosts. The room is huge and if anything the photos don’t do it justice! It’s super clean, massive bed and they offer free drinking water. Nice and peaceful area, only a 10ish minute walk into the centre. We liked it so much we booked again. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting Antigua.

Excelente todo, muy bonito el lugar, aseado, ordenado, silencioso. Super amables y amigables. Aunque ésta en la calle principal dentro del hospedaje es tranquilo y contestan super rápido.

I could not be more delighted with our stay here! Two of the bests hosts we've ever had the pleasure of meeting, incredibly helpful and friendly. Looked after us like family when we arrived and my partner was feeling sick. Location is perfect for Pana, just a five minutes walk from all the restaurants and main shopping while being peaceful at night. This was just the homebase we needed for exploring the lake. The house is very clean, has wonderfully fluffy towels, great water pressure, comfortable bed. Would book again in a heartbeat, and wish we could have stayed longer! The power went out once, but the hosts messaged within moments and provided power and wifi so my partner could continue working without interruption. The hosts make this rental, they're just such wonderful people.

Super lovely hostel with everything you need if you like to spend most of your time exploring the town. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly nice and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook for yourself.

De noche parece ser un lugar algo inseguro, porque queda cerca de la terminal. Pero por lo demás todo estuvo muy bonito. Muy delicados con las normas de uso de instalaciones, toallas, lavandería etc.

Excelente lugar para descansar! Doña Malena es una maravillosa anfitriona, me sentí como en casa porque nos dejó comida preparada y otros alimentos para disfrutar!

We had a great stay, the host was very warm, kind and welcoming. The place is very nice and comfortable, it has everything we needed. We recommend it and we'll sure stay again when we come back to Guatemala.

Muy buenas ubicación, cerca de antigua lugar muy limpio y accesible.

Wir sehr tolle und entspannte Tage bei Guy. Die Unterkunft ist sehr nett eingerichtet und es gibt große geteilte Bereiche, in denen man wunderbar, teilweise mit tollen Blick auf den See sitzen kann. Die Zimmer sind insgesamt sehr sehr klein, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man kann dort wunderbar Gerichte zubereiten. Ein absoluter Tipp ist der Kombucha, den man im Eigenen Laden unten einkaufen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
