The cottage is 37 minutes from Grand Rapids, Mi 28th Street. 40 minutes from Grand Ledge, Mi.

The Bear Cave log Cabin is secluded with a hiking trail connecting to North Point County Park that leads to the beach. The Van Buren State Park beach/campground access is 0.5 miles away.
