This Airbnb is exactly as described! Beautiful, remote and private, but with a local feel. You are out of town enough that there is no service (but wifi is excellent, just make sure to have your GPS on prior to leaving the house). The neighborhood you’re in is filled with friendly locals. You feel safe, the type of safe to leave the door unlocked or have the screen door open to let the natural air in. The host recommendations of what to do on the island is really what made our experience. What is on the list is only things that a true local would know to do- beats any tourist guide you can find. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This is an awesome place! The private cottage on Bruce's Pineapple farm made our vacation stay extra special in so many ways. It was a real treat to be away from the condo crowds and yet still able to easily get around to various beaches, shops, and restaurants. The local beaches are stunning, and a real treat to enjoy being so close to the farm. Bruce is super attentive with communication and offered many useful tips on places to go, how to get there, and things not to miss. This was one of the most important things for us, and his pineapple farm tour was also a special treat. We all know how many hours it takes to research the right place to stay, so if you are contemplating his place, look no further! I am already planning when we can return to spend more time here. We have stayed at Ocean Rhythm several times and enjoyed ourselves each visit. The Oceanside location is marvelous, offering warm salty breezes and the sound of waves meeting landfall. Baby Beach, with its protected reef, is a two minute walk away. We love to spend the afternoon just floating around in its calm waters. As well, the cottage is right on the coastal bike/walking path, a seven mile paved trail that runs up the coast with magnificent views. This home comes with everything a person could want for beach recreation; masks, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, mats, etc. Ellen , the host, is the best. She is friendly and kind, responsive and caring. We will definitely return

Micco and his surf cottage was a delight. Great communication from the very beginning - including super helpful recommendations of local activities and operators. Fabulous location in Hanalei - very close to beach and town. Lots of nice touches around the home to make you feel comfortable and ready for the beach and outdoors. He also took time to share some great recommendations for special hikes on a rainy day. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning in the future and staying longer!

Our stay at Jane’s was great! Check in/out was smooth, and there were a lot of resources we could use to navigate in the house + around the island. We appreciated that part most.

Ipo Cottage is everything you need and nothing you don't. Perfect in its simplicity and attention to detail. The property is lush and private and authentic. Nothing about it feels contrived. The outdoor shower at the end of the day, was particularly special, surrounded by kauai greenery and moon light filtering through the tree top. Falling asleep to the sound of the rain with all the windows open...epic. The symphony of birds in the morning and the quick walk across the street to watch the sunrise over the water with a home made ice coffee... And Dan is a lovely thoughtful person. He truly cares about his home and the magic of Ha'ena and Kauai's north shore.

This home could not have been a better place to stay for us. We were very comfortable and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Kauai. Thanks to Ian & Melissa for the use of their wonderful home. Sheila & Dave Brown.

A perfect escape! The property was perfect - homey, clean, and perfectly suit for purpose. We enjoyed the balcony every day and the bedroom was tranquil and comfortable. The location was a great jumping-off point for a day on foot or in car. We enjoyed the proximity to the local beach and restaurants, morning walks to coffee were a highlight. The location made it extremely easy to go north or west for exploration and hiking days. Thank you for the hospitality!

The studio has amazing views of the bay and it’s an easy walk to Kalapakī beach and the restaurants. The space was very clean and our host was very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The only issue is that there is no hot water when you take a shower, it’s luke warm. And the pillows are very flat and hard. Otherwise we had a very nice time and we would return.

For anyone who loves Anini beach, this is the perfect place to stay. It was so wonderful to be able to walk to the beach in just a couple minutes. Also 15min or less to drive to Kilauea or Hanalei for restaurants / markets / fresh juice / etc. Highly recommend.

This place was great. It was awesome that we could just sit outside on the balcony and watch the turtles from the comfort of our rental. It was also very convenient that there was an elevator not too far from the place to get to the beach as well as restaurants and stores. All in all we were very satisfied with the place and glad that we chose it.

Our stay at the cottage was great. Very close to the beach and really appreciated the beach equipment provided. We loved relaxing and enjoying the slower speeds and stunning scenery. The quick ride into town wasn't bad for dinners. Greatly appreciated the AC in the bedrooms. Highly recommend this location.

As advertised. Charming cottage in the perfect location in Poipu. Small but clean and airy. All sorts of supplies, spices, kitchen and beach gadgets. Furnishings not expensive but Linens, sheets and bedding were very nice. The landscaping and flowers were over the top. Owner communicates well and there were no problems

Mary’s home was perfect for our family of four. We have two young children and Anini beach was perfect! Just across the street is an access path to the beach. Soft sand with crystal clear calm shallow water, perfect for snorkeling and just splashing around. We even saw a sea turtle. The house is much better then the pictures, beautiful plantation style interior with a screened in dining area and lani to enjoy the morning sun. Our kids loved the out door shower and all beach equipment supplied at the house. My one comment is that it can be loud at night with roosters and cars passing by. If you bring ear plugs you’ll be fine. We can’t wait to come back.
