Our place is very spacious inside and out so lots of space for guests to relax. Surrounded my trees it’s very peaceful. Tainui Retreat A beautiful, newly renovated two storey house in the heart of Havelock North. Just 15-20 minutes walk to the village. Warm and sunny, with a balcony off the living area and a secluded deck at the other end of the house with an outdoor table and couches. A garage is available for storage of bikes & golf clubs. The house is set up for adults. Our policy is for no children under 10. Out of consideration for our neighbours we have a quiet policy from 9 pm and strictly no parties.

Our Cottage has been renovated to accommodate travellers. It is warm and cosy in the winter and with a large living space in which to relax. The cottage is in the centre of the Te Mata wine region, close to wineries including Black Barn, Craggy Range and the Te Mata Estate. It is a 5 minute drive to the centre of Havelock North, a thriving cafe and easy shopping centre. Wai iti Cottage is a good walk/bike ride from the concert venue and market at Black Barn Winery.
