A warm home with a wood-burning fire, heat pumps. Private property of some 2000 sq meters with gardens and lawn areas back and front in a quiet street. Good off-street parking. Five minutes drive from town or a fifteen-minute walk. Ideal for both winter and summer. Useless Towers got the name from good friends who stayed, and the name has stuck. Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.
