Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on 8.5 acres with wood fire and queen bed. Rest by the beautiful sound of a year-round running creek and birdsong. The cottage is on a dead-end dirt road and due to the remoteness, is only accessible via car. No public transport is available. A short 15 minute drive to Healesville so easy access to delicious food, wineries and the Yarra Valley. We live in the neighbouring house and available at anytime but far enough away for complete privacy.

Built 1930 & fully restored with extensions added in 2017. 3 LARGE bedrooms-priced on people staying not space available-eg weekend rate given is for 2 + fees/surcharge. There are so many options for whatever you choose to do. This area caters to all your needs or dreams – away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Little House on the Hill

The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.

Whispering Vines Cottage - private sauna & fire

The Cottage has the following facilities: Queen size bed, Kitchen, Fridge, TV, Stereo, Deck with BBQ so you can sit back and take in the ambiance.
