We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in County Durham! The location is perfect—just a short walk down the hill to the city centre, with easy access to the cathedral, castle, university, and plenty of great pubs. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and welcoming, with everything we needed for a comfortable couple of nights. Our host was terrific—super responsive and made check-in and check-out seamless with clear, thoughtful instructions. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone exploring Durham!

we stayed in this lovely little house with our teenage son and our dog. The house is clean and cosy and lots of amenities. The beds were very comfy and had TVs in the rooms. Location was great very near the beach and a little shop to grab bits and bobs and also short walk to pubs across the road for food etc. We really liked the welcome pack which was very thoughtful. Thanks and would definitely stay here again.

this place is a little gem in a surprisingly peaceful location. Beds were very comfy, kitchen well equipped, the outside space is private, perfect. Elaine was the perfect responsive host. We will be delighted to come back one day!

What an amazing cottage, lovely home from home for us to stay in! Benjamin goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is without stress. Bread, milk and biscuits waiting for us when we arrived which was great after a long drive. I was worried my caffeine intake would go down but to my delight there was a Nespresso machine!!!! Can see the sea from the back bedroom and our dog had a great time on the beach. We will definitely book again.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

This apartment oozed generosity and hospitality. It was incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It is probably the best air B&B we have ever stayed in. The apartment was really convenient for China Town and the rail station, free parking right outside on a quiet street with a little park opposite. Christian and his partner were really friendly and helpful with recommendations of places to go. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area. F A B U L O U S !!

Absolutely blown away by this property, it was immaculate throughout and some really unique features. everything was clean and lots of extras included for breakfast. The bed was super comfy. Carla was very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us during our stay. We will definitely come back again.

Great location, bonus of having a parking permit provided. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location. Immaculate, well designed space well equipped. Lisa & Steve are good hosts who have added lots of nice welcome touches.

Absolutely amazing place to stay , clean , tidy and lovely decor. Everything is well thought out and everything you need is in there :) Great host lovely guy and will definitely be staying again :) The patio area and garden just top it off over looking the sea . Fab views peaceful but not far away from things . A lovely park within a 3 min walk with a lake and waterfalls . Really really recommend. Great for private parking . Very impressed start to finish :)

Linda’s flat was ideally located for our stay, only 15 minutes walk to the Freeman Hospital and five mins to the Metro. Parking in the area was easy, too, which helped. Linda was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful during our stay.

We had a really great time in Debra's home. Her place is clean, comfortable, and close to the beaches, supermarkets, and restaurants. Debra is warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to texts/emails. We look forward to returning again in the Fall. Thank you so much, Debra! xx
