Stayed for only one night to break up a long journey. Dog walk straight from the house in beautiful surroundings and good local pub for dinner. Will definitely favourite this Airbnb as we will be back!

Rashida and Colin are a great team and made us feel very welcome. The annex accommodation around the courtyard garden was perfect for us and very comfortable for a 3 night stay. It's a nice touch having samples of Colin's photography on the wall. The metro and Aldi are both about 10 mins' walk away which was convenient for us to get the one stop to Tynemouth or longer trip into Newcastle. We'll definitely be back - many thanks.

The house is spacious and the garden is lovely. We stayed with two toddlers and they loved being able to play safely in the garden while we cooked in the kitchen. Rosaline was welcoming and quick to communicate. Thank you for letting us stay x

It was my 2nd time visiting Seaham and my 1st time staying at Steph's place. Such a lovely apartment, beautiful light, very spacious, peaceful, and clean. I stayed in the back bedroom, the bed was very comfy. The welcome basket was a sweet & generous touch. I appreciated the tea bags & the milk. I had tea everyday. I also appreciated the bottled water, as well. The store ASDA is a 12 minute walk where you can find many items, from food, health & beauty to clothing. Also, a couple doors down from the ASDA store is Byron Place, there are stores & a couple sandwich shops inside. I look forward to visiting Seaham in the future & I hope I can stay at Steph's place again. 🙂 Being very close to the sea was WONDERFUL.

We loved our stay! The house was lovely, very clean and perfect for what we needed. There were lots of lovely little touches like house shoes and toiletries in the bathroom and even a bottle of wine on arrival! Lots of leaflets of things to do too and the house looked just like the pictures. The only downside was that there was no lock on the toilet door and the bedrooms only have blinds (no curtails) which meant that the rooms were very bright very early. But the house was great and we enjoyed our stay.

The property has been extended and modernised to a good level with tasteful furnishings, bedding and personal touches. We knew the area to be ex-industrial so knew what to expect. Proximity to the extensive coastline was our prime enjoyment with somewhere comfortable to return to each night.

Absolutely beautiful home, tastefully decorated and comfortable throughout

The location is really good, close to Jesmond but in a more quiet residential part. The property was nice, self-contained with a cozy mezzanine level. The bed was comfy, and we didn't find the low roof too cramped. There was always parking outside. The street always had spaces up on the kerb (NB: the spaces required you to sometimes hump the car up the full kerb rather than a dropped kerb).

Great caravan within a caravan park, beach in the door step with a lighthouse. 1 mile to walk there and you get to see the seals. 1.5 mile from the town centre, gorgeous beach and pitch and putt course. Bus stop right outside that can take you into Whitley bay, Tynemouth or Newcastle. We love this caravan park but Kate’s caravan was amazing, full of essentials for cleaning and using the vans amenities, Kate also left a welcome pack which was great. Will definitely be back. Very modern and clean van. Great location right on the beach and very accommodating host, leaving tea, coffee biscuits etc. Would recommend to anyone and was really impressed with how nice the caravan was. Thanks for having us!

Such a beautiful location. Nick’s home was spotless, beautifully furnished, spacious and a joy to stay in. Both Nick and Rodica were helpful, friendly and gracious. I can’t recommend their place highly enough.

Lovely stay for the week as a family with 2 young kids. Nice and close to a stunning beach. The holiday home itself was well appointed and very clean - some nice touches and very comfortable. We had a really nice relaxing stay and would recommend for anyone looking to recharge their batteries and have beautiful walks and scenery close by.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

We could not have wished for a better host/stay in Whitley Bay- Sarah as well as her place was just fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Check in was super easy and Sarah's communication was incredible. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and having a great stay. The caravan was just as described/ pictured, it was clean and very comfortable. I would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!!!

The host has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Great communication and a beautiful building in a country setting. Privacy respected, but easy to message host if you needed any information. Very good host.

Perfect place for our needs for 3 nights away. Fantastic location for both shops/bars/restaurants and Jesmond Dene. We were able to walk into the city, along the quayside, and through Ouseburn via Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene back to the place. It’s a great walk and highly recommend it. Joanne is a great host. Perfect in terms of instructions for access, parking, and recommendations. The place is clean and cosy. What more can you ask for.

Absolutely lovely 4 night break in Station Cottage. It was clean, spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay. Mick was very welcoming and fun to chat with. The attention to detail in the cottage is very noticeable. We had wondered whether the proximity to the rail lines would be problematic, but it wasn't at all! We had a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend, and if we had the opportunity, we would return. Thank you!

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

We had a great time! The farm cottage had everything that you needed for a comfortable and well equipped stay. It was lovely seeing the lambs playing in the field, hearing the owls in the evening in the nearby trees and seeing the fantastic sunsets on the horizon. We enjoyed our walks around Bolam country Park, getting to Cresswell Beach and going into Newcastle. We also went into the National park for a walk up to a waterfall. Our dog - Callie - enjoyed her stay just as much as we did! Would definitely be happy to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Joannes home! It is so perfectly located to do all we wanted to - seaglass hunting!! Huge benefit to have the parking spot on the front drive. Also huge bonus to be in walking distance to ammenities - asda, pharmacy, home shops and food outlets. Everything we needed was here - a home away from home. The tea/cake/milk was a kind touch. Comfy, clean bright airy base. Comfy sofa and bed. Really well decorated and maintained, lovely colour schemes and accents - nothing has been overlooked. Joanne was an attentive host with friendly communication. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever up North again. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing place to stay , clean , tidy and lovely decor. Everything is well thought out and everything you need is in there :) Great host lovely guy and will definitely be staying again :) The patio area and garden just top it off over looking the sea . Fab views peaceful but not far away from things . A lovely park within a 3 min walk with a lake and waterfalls . Really really recommend. Great for private parking . Very impressed start to finish :)

House was as described and perfect for what we wanted. Nice touches included an initial supply of tea/coffee items. Gemma was always very responsive and would consider using the same location again if the need arises.
