Lower Green has been a working cattle farm for three generations. Glyn was born here, the youngest of seven siblings. We opened Orchard View 14th century cottage to guests because we wanted people to experience what we experience every day, the peace, the dark skies, the particular stillness .The spring water still runs cold and clean. The owls are still in the oak trees. The fields still look the way they did when the drovers passed through. We've tried to change as little as possible."

Both have been decorated and furnished to a high standard. They have views over the gardens, brook and fields beyond. The Orchard Barn at Old Court Farm. Our country hideaway has been lovingly brought to life from its humble beginnings as a Old cider barn. Designed and built here on the farm, this modern conversion brings a luxurious ‘interior feel’ surrounded by never-ending oak beams with views over looking the apple orchards. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.
