The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Our Grade II listed lodge, built in 1779, is extremely unique and has undergone a sympathetic restoration to bring it back to its former glory. It is single storey and has been generously furnished and equipped with everything you need for a fantastic luxury, self catered getaway. The Lodge has a large lawned private garden with a patio, furniture and wonderful views. It is set in the beautiful village of Brattleby in rural Lincolnshire just 10 minutes drive from the historic city of Lincoln.

The double bedroom provides a cosy space complete with large comfortable bed for the perfect nights sleep.

The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A stream with ducks is in the next village. Sleeping 2, this rural getaway is perfect for those wanting to retreat from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Relax in the hot tub and soak up the sweeping views! Woldview retreat is on the edge of the small village of Spridlington, and has open plan living, dining and sleeping, with bifold doors opening out on to a balcony showcasing the scenic views of rural Lincolnshire. These can also be enjoyed from the hot tub. Maximum 2 Adults. No infants or children. No pets.

This is a 4 person lodge, ( 2 adults and 2 children really due to the space and the sofa bed is a small double) benefiting from its own open plan kitchen/dining area, bathroom and double bedroom. Also own hot tub.
