Such a beautiful home and a wonderful place for a family weekend retreat to Lake Jackson State Park and participate in the Fonta Flora 50K. The home is so cozy, and enjoyable. Space to gather together and also retreat away to relax and read a book or nap. The deck and dock space are amazing!!! Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We are already planning our next visit to their home.

Great stay. Very clean, well equipped, amenities were as advertised and well maintained. House was in great location - very near restaurants, stores, and lake norman park (great hiking trails). Communication with host and co-host was very responsive. The game room was a hit! Adults, kids, and grandkids all played pool, air hockey, and foosball. Grandkids loved the paddleboards. And the hot tub was very nice for unwinding. For Thanksgiving dinner - having 2 refrigerators and ovens for meal prep was a lifesaver! Only feedback I have is it would be nice if the game room was heated. And the fenced back yard was not as large as we expected (as it looked in the picture) but it worked out ok for the 2 dogs. All in all a great time had by all - including the dogs - and it was a great Thanksgiving! Would recommend staying here!

Our family of four (including two older teens and two dogs) loved Diane’s place. The location could not have been better. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from all of the many decks and outdoor living spaces, and were in an ideal cove for swimming and paddle boarding. The house has everything we needed and much more. We never needed to leave except for groceries. Our kids preferred it to our usual beach vacation. The kitchen and appliances were spotless. Throw blankets, pet protectors, pool towels, life jackets and every kitchen item you could imagine, the home provided it all. Diane was extremely gracious and proactive in communication. If we plan a future lake vacation, we will certainly look for this lovely Lake Lure home again, and anything Diane is hosting.

Ok you have to stay here! The house is just lovely with beautiful vaulted ceilings, wood beams, bright sunlight filtering through the giant windows and skylights complete with beautiful views. It is designed to feel peaceful, stylish and comfortable. It literally has ALL the things to do and plenty of privacy. I can’t even list it all the amenities in the space given. To top it off the host Allison was beyond thoughtful! There was a little sign to welcome us and she left a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Made us feel like we were staying in the home of close friends. Seriously just rent this one, you WILL love it!

Tara and Tim were great hosts. They communicated well and everything was just as described. We were there to celebrate our son’s wedding and the home accommodated our large group very well.

A wonderful stay at Lake Norman. This house was a perfect location for an extended family getaway. It was exactly as described with beautiful views and the kayaks and paddle boards were a great perk. There were a couple maintenance issues while we were there but they were quickly addressed. That driveway is no joke, just as described!

The house was beautiful with a view of the lake. I enjoyed coffee on the outdoor patio or in front of the various fires. We also enjoyed hiking the community trails as a family. My advice would be to pack everything, the kitchen did not have any supplies (ie garbage bags or olive oil). Worth every penny for the house and would love to go back in the summer. Oh and don't waste your time going to Marion, there's nothing in that town. Enjoy the outdoors instead :)

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and beautifully set up, making it feel like a home away from home. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from the essentials to thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. Jeff, the host, was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions I had about the house. I highly recommend staying here – it’s a fantastic spot!

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Great weekend spent at Lore’s place. Pictures do not do it justice. Better than we expected. Very clean and everything you would need. The design of inside was beautiful. Every detail Lore has covered and more than you need. Will definitely be back again. Kudos to a wonderful place.

Cute place for a getaway with 2-4 people. Beautiful deck, small kitchen with what you need for quick cooking, coffee on hand, bathroom nice with what you need, clean and tidy. Loved the convenience to everything to do in the area. Kids loved the pool! I loved the zip line just 15 mins up the road (not included but highly recommend). Very responsive and helpful host. Lake Lure and views are breathtaking.

I have used James many times now to lodge employees from Minnesota while attending training in the Charlotte area. All aspects of our interactions have been EXCELLENT! My employees request to stay there versus a hotel. The amenities, cleanliness, location, and peacefulness of the lake far out weigh anything a local hotel can offer. He's always the first place we look to book. 100% recommended.

This apartment is spacious and comfortable. Nice view and patio. Quick drive to Davidson Main Street. Close to highway. Nice touches like plenty of coffee, tea, trial size toiletries. Wi-Fi worked great. Host responded quickly and I was happy that they didn’t proactively send us a ton of messages checking on us. I also liked that check out was just lock up and leave. No list of chores. 😅 We will stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This lakeside get-a-way was just as described. As we barely left the property, everything we needed was at out finger tips. Danielle was proactive from the onset and a great host. We will be back!

We enjoyed our visit! The cottage was cozy and close to restaurants and Lake Norman. Mooresville Downtown was quaint and fun - definitely will try and make it out again soon!

Can’t say enough about Zack’s home. It was the perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful but also incredibly fun getaway! The house was just as pictured (if not better). It was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The deck was perfect for relaxing the sun as well as a tasty dinner on the grill. The bonus bar room provided many competitive & fun rounds of darts while keeping up with sports games on tv. The dock was the perfect relaxation spot. Our boys also used it to fish from and also jumped in a few times. We took advantage of both the kayaks and the boat rental. SOO fun!! Zack’s dad, Jeff, explained everything needed to use the boat. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the best time, felt right at home and created a ton of fun family memories here. Definitely hope to visit again!

Jack was a great host! He supplied everything we needed for a fun, lakehouse vacation. Comfortable, clean, safe, quiet! The pictures were accurate and lakefront location was even better than the pictures. The only thing to know ahead of time of that the second bedroom (while clean and very comfortable) is a captured room (enter and exit only through the first bedroom). This is not ideal. It may have been explained in the description and the accurate pictures, but we were caught unaware. Loved our time there! I hope to return.

This was the best airbnb we have stayed! Andrea was very accommodating, very personable. It was awesome staying at a place that embraces having your dogs with you. This was my second visit to Marthas and once again it did not disappoint. This time we decided to book specifically for a father son fishing trip. We had a blast caught plenty bass blue gill and some catfish. I normally never catch any bass but they were pumping on my hook all weekend. Martha is always helpful very responsive and so polite she always leaves a little snack in kitchen when you enter. The furniture is cozy and very comfortable the setting is relaxing and beautiful view. The neighbors are polite great restaurants nearby and easy to drive to with many grocery stores close by the locals are so friendly and welcoming.

We Enjoyed our Stay at This Airbnb it was very clean, nice location, and looked just like the photos!! The host was extremely nice and made sure he sent us all instructions needed and more!! My husband, 4 year old son and 2 labs stayed here. Immediately you are relaxed with the water and peaceful neighborhood. My husband and I hadn’t sat that long outside for quite some time. We were so impressed with how quiet it was. We met the mallard couple that hangs out there, we decided they were Mel and Linda. Saw them everyday and herons. It was exactly what we needed. Our son kept saying, “I love our new house!” He couldn’t get enough of the hammocks and swings below. Thank you for a wonderful spring break and memories we will have forever.
