The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

Short walk through the yard to the beach. Guests may bring their watercraft or use our four kayaks, row boat or pedal boat. Please return where you found it, so the tide doesn't take it away. Beautiful landscaping with a trout pond, large yard, in season berries on the bushes, produce in the garden, fresh eggs in the chicken coop and catch and release trout fishing.

Our unique cottage resort is situated right on the water's edge. Cottage #2 is the middle of three attached units. The hot tub is outside of Cottage #1 and is shared among all three units.
