Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

This is for the entire cottage with parking for 2 vehicles only. Located on the edge of the village with River Peakshole running at the back of the cottage garden but within 5 minutes walking distance of seven pubs, restaurants and shops. . The back of cottage takes you to the Mam Tor and Edale, perfectly located.

Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. Recently restored to create a warm and inviting space, it offers a great base from which to explore the Peak District with the famous Castleton Caves, Kinder Scout & Mam Tor all on your doorstep. Offering, free WiFi, on-street parking, lovely spacious rooms and garden space. Perfect for couples or families with small children. We can accept up to 1 dog, a fee of £30.00 is payable.
