Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway , this retreat has everything you need.Gather around the bonfire under the stars, tranquil surroundings. Please note that, as the cabin is located in the woods, it’s common to encounter wood bugs and occasional spider webs. These natural features are part of the environment and can be more noticeable during certain seasons.

Cabin 2 directly on the lake!

We have 3 cabins on Houston County Lake that rent separately. 1&2 have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft. The 3rd is a Studio. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4. The loft has two twin beds in Cabin 1 and a queen mattress in Cabin 2. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a Roku TV and WIFI. We have a covered Pavilion with Pickleball, basketball, and other games.

'The Whacky Shack' Family Cabin w/ Fire Pit!

Designed for families or friends looking to relax and unplug along the water, 'The Whacky Shack,' a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental cabin offers serenity and entertainment on your Trinity getaway. Sway in the shady hammocks, spend the day boating out on Lake Livingston, and end the day gathered around the fire pit for storytelling and stargazing. Explore the trails of Sam Houston National Forest, enjoy a dip in the lake to travel to Goat Island, or plan a hunting trip to Wormy's Ranch.

Logan Springs Ranch

Logan Springs Ranch is 142 acres of trees, trails, creeks and springs. A beautiful property for hiking, fishing or just relaxing. The 2140 sq. ft. home sits on top of hill overlooking a 5 acre lake. The back deck and screened in porch offer wonderful views of the lake and property. Lake and 2 ponds for catch and release fishing. Trails throughout the property are great for hiking and exploring. The house has two master bedrooms, each with a private bath and very comfortable king size beds.

Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built in 1940 by Mr. Taylor as a gathering place for his family. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Great outdoor space perfect for kids to run and explore. Dedicated workspace and fast WiFi for remote work or business trips, with quick access to Hwy 94. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the back porch or unwinding by the fire pit, this peaceful retreat is designed for relaxation and family fun.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Nestled among towering pines and perched right on the edge of a tranquil lake, this charming cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle of daily life. Sip your morning coffee on the large covered porch, take in the mirror-like water views, enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the porch and fall asleep to the sounds of nature.

Henry’s Houston County Lake

At Henry’s you will enjoy private dock access to Houston County Lake (Crockett, TX) — not to be confused with Lake Houston. Outdoor fire pit, grill, and kayaks make the perfect getaway for family and friends. Please note that Henry’s is not accessible, being there is a step onto the front/back porches and multiple levels of outside staircases leading to the dock.
