Relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. This 3 story, 3BR, 2BA, home was just freshened up & is within walking distance of the city amenities, nearby lakes, & local attractions. The main flr has hdwd flrs, full kitchen, din. rm, Sm brkfst nook or work space, 2BR, w/ QBs & TVs, & 1BA. The upper lvl has 1BR w/ 1BA, W&D on lower lvl, w/ open area for storage, etc. Lg quiet bkyd w/ fire pit. Can accommodate Lg family or Sm group, air matresses available if needed. Great for short or long stays.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Relax in a wilderness setting on a little Pequaywan Lake. Enjoy an outdoor patio fire pit and a grill area, overlooking the lake. A sauna also available . Inside you will find a FULLY equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. All linens included. No pets allowed. This is a private lake so no boat access available. One canoe and one kayak with life jackets provided. Take the path to the water where there is a dock, (this is a little steep). Located 35 minutes to Duluth AND Two Harbors.

The deck provides a peaceful view of the woods; and the 3 season porch and loft den offer lovely places to relax and read. In the winter the wood stove provides a toasty ambiance.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
