The town of Hungry Horse sits in the shadow of the Hungry Horse Dam and Reservoir with 170 miles of shoreline and adjacent to Flathead National Forest with it's 2.5 million acres and 2600 miles of trails you may never make it to Glacier!

Lots of winter activities as well. Plenty of snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and Big Mountain skiing. Whitefish is a short 17 mile drive.

This cozy home is our “Smokey the Bear” cabin. There is a driveway that can fit 2 cars next to the home. “Smokey” is just a 7-minute drive to the main entrance to Glacier Park. The home sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids comfortably. (8 allowed if at least 2 of the guests are young kids.) The home has a covered deck, full-home AC and heating, gas fireplace, back yard with fire pit, desk/work area, and pull-out sofa if needed. We will give an additional discount for booking for 2 months or more.

This is a beautiful and convenient place to relax when visiting the last best place. There is a romantic woodstove inside and a hottub outside! There are two brand new A-Frames next door that share some outdoor spaces and a cabin as well. You can book all 4 for large family events or just the house for privacy.
