Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Puljun erämaakylässä vuonna 2020 valmistunut, omistajien itse tekemä tyylikäs kelomökki tarjoaa sinulle upeat mahdollisuudet rentoutua erämaakylän rauhassa vuoden ympäri. Lähimmät palvelut löytyvät Leviltä (50km) ja lähin lentokenttä on Kittilässä (70km). Kohteessa sinulla on käytössäsi koko mökki, pihan laavu, ja autolle lämmityspiste. Ympäröivä luonto monipuolisine vesistöineen tarjoaa luontokokemuksia kaikkina vuodenaikoina. Läheinen Puljutunturi on oiva retkeilykohde. Ei metsästyskäyttöön.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

You can enjoy and relax in this unique destination. In this cottage, there is hot tub where you can see sky full of stars and Northern lights. Inside the cottage, there is original Finnish sauna. Pallas-Ylläs nationalpark about 1hour by car, and Levi ski resort 20min by car. Near this cottage, there is lots Natural paths and snowmobile roads. Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

In case you do not want to explore the nature for some reason, there are two smart TV's (65" and 55"), PS5 and Nintendo Switch to play with. Bedroom’s TV is for streaming only. Distances; closest neighbour 0,4km, bus stop 5km, supermarket 15km, restaurant 15km, airport 25km. Note! Villa's fireplace is not in use.

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

Studio with own entrance & a kitchen and a bathroom. 10 min walk from the bus station, from the supermarkets and other services. The Ivalo airport is only 10km away. There are two single beds. Desk and chairs You will also find a kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave, crockery and cutlery. The studio has a private bathroom with a shower. Towels and toilet paper are provided.
