North Country Cottage

This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Hungry Lake Hideaway is an Amish built tiny cabin in the woods of Wisconsin near Chetek. The 6.5 acre wooded property includes private access to Hungry lake where guest use of 2 kayaks and 1 paddle board is encouraged. There is a swim raft that is the perfect spot to tie up your kayak and jump in the lake, lounge on, or even stargaze from. This is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Everything you need to enjoy a weekend or week-long stay is already provided. Cleaning Fee $55.

We fell in love with Hayward for the same reason so many people do: the lakes, the quiet, the slower pace, and how easy it is to feel connected to nature. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

Relax with the whole family at our lodge on Sand Lake. This house comes with lake access as you can simply walk across the street and enjoy the water. For those looking to escape, slow down, and enjoy the lake life, this is the perfect place. If you love to fish or have a boat, you will have your own dock to enjoy the water. The "Gatekeeper" cottage has a natural gas stone fireplace in the living room, Full size sofa sleeper, full kitchen, full bath on the main floor and a half bath in the sleeping loft. (Need to be able to climb ladder stairs to lofted bedroom). A spiral staircase leads you down to the lower level which has an additional bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in the extra living room space, and full bathroom. The lower level also has a walk out french door to the patio area.
